Lucky sniffed the air. He smelled another female. "Theres another female around here." He said and trotted to where the female was. "Hey... My name is Lucky, and you are?" He said looking at the beautiful female.

Tabitha snorted, and nodded to Tahlia to let her know that she was dismissing herself, and that she could follow if she wished. She looked up towards the other mare, and turned around with no other delays, and trotted off towards the juniper bushes she and Tahlia had found only a short time before. Bud gulped down a lump that was caught in his throat as he watched Tabitha trot away without looking back, then glanced at Tahlia. He stared her in the eyes for only a few seconds, then turned to follow Lucky. Standing nearly beside him, he greeted the new female. "Hey there. I'm Bud." Bud shook his head, keepin it up, in a friendly manner, and gave a whinny to go along with his warm welcome.

Jicira quickly got up, to her full height, but it didn't help much because she was so short. She responded energetically, "Hey y'all, i'm Jicira." Her front hooves left the ground slightly as she greeted them, and her eyes gave a funny flicker. She whinnied back to them, and glanced around for a moment waiting for them to say something. After an awkward silence she continued, "Yeah, I'm Jicira, 2 year old, New Forest Pony. Or as I like to say, New Forest Horse. If ya get what i mean."

Tahlia’s eyes followed the males to see the female across the creek. She nodded her head in a slight greeting, hoping the mare saw. Normally, she would be more than happy to greet the newcomer but she wanted nothing to do with Bud or Lucky at that moment. She reared up and gave a loud whinny, letting the small breeze tug at her mane and tail. Then she trotted off to find something to eat. She veered off from where Tabitha had gone thinking maybe she wanted some time alone, and ended up just to the left of her where some more bushes grew.

"Ohh, i wouldn't worry about those girls! They can be real bossy." Lucky exclaimed. "That one over there," motioning to Tabitha "is the lead mare. Her name is Tabitha. So Jicira, You are only 2 years old?" He looked at the beautiful new mare with his dark eyes shining in the light. Lucky shook his mane and pawed.
